Gap sweater (old) | Zara shirt | Paige Denim jeans via TJ Maxx | Sam Edelman boots | J.Crew bracelet | Stella McCartney sunglasses | 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli satchel

Sometimes in life, you just decide to throw caution to the wind. I’ve learned–the hard way–that in fashion this is not always as glamorous as movie plots would have you believe. But sometimes…just sometimes–you pick up a turquoise sweater and decide that today, it will go with the army green skinny jeans you also want to wear.

(Except, it’s not, because apparently I’m getting so old that I am not remembering that I’ve worn similarly-coordinated outfits like these in the not-so-distant-past.)
