We are preparing to host a housewarming party and the house still feels primarily unfinished. We have nothing up on our walls yet (except for flat screen TV’s, natch) and there is still a mountain of unpacked boxes and unsorted paraphernalia in my office. But wherever there’s an excuse to have friends over and drink cheap wine, I’m all for creating events around that…am I right?
Super excited about an upcoming collaboration with none other than mister Isaac Mizrahi himself, who has partnered up with Chevrolet to design an entire collection inspired by the 2013 Malibu. If you’re not a little bit puzzled, then you’re in the minority. But it’s actually really inspiring! The Chevy Malibu is actually a car that is primarily driven by women (who’da thunk?) so Mizrahi designed a collection around the Malibu-driving woman (a woman who appreciates the finer things in life but is savvy about it) and then met 4 different women across the country. It’s all very exciting and I’m delighted to be a part of it – as I’m equal parts fashion geek and car geek (I’ve had a Car & Driver subscription since I was 14 years old). I don’t want to give away all of the fun just yet, but there are more exciting updates coming, I promise!
