Ask PSS: Episode 1

Hey guys! First of all I want to thank each and every one of you who sent kind thoughts and prayers and comments my way on Friday and continually throughout the weekend. On Friday I was on my way to the hospital for a usual 16-hour call shift, when a cement truck ran a two-way stop sign (I had the right-of-way) and out of nowhere he collided with my passenger side, straight on. My car was slammed into a light pole and I managed to swerve myself out of a ditch. Thankfully I managed to get out safely with just a few bruises on my left arm and left hip where my body must have slammed into the side of the car on impact. I feel very fortunate and very blessed. Sadly, I’m carless now but it’s a small price to pay for my car taking the brunt of the impact. Bravo, 2011 Toyota Camry! You have a special place in my heart, that’s for sure.

So! Here’s my first episode of #AskPSS – you guys use the hashtag to ask me questions and get featured in my video! If you weren’t featured and you asked a question, never fear – you can always ask again!

Thanks so much to those of you who did write in their questions! I had fun answering them!

Geez you were lucky! Be glad you didn’t crash in Ohio. I was hit by a women who changed lanes into my back fender and she was cited for the accident but I was too…For failure to control. Because in Ohio, if someone hits you, you shouldn’t end up wrecking into the retaining wall, you should maintain control of your vehicle. Gee, I tried lol!
I’m glad you';re okay though. Are you fixing the car or getting new?

Thanks for answering my question, sweets! Your videos are so great, have always wondered about your hardware. Your transparency is so refreshing! Thanks for sharing. And I am SOOOOOO glad you are OK after that doozy of a smash-up. Man. That is scary stuff.

    Big hug!

Great blogging tips in the video! I think a lot of bloggers underestimate the importance of quality content and a clean design. And good to know that you use a Canon too. All your videos + photos are always so clear and professional! You give me hope since I have a T3i that I’m learning to use. :)

Glad you’re okay after the accident!

I’m glad you’re ok! Yikes! What a smack!

#AskPSS – You obviously have a LOT of makeup! How do you organize it so that your space looks tidy and you ensure you have access to your products (so that none get buried and forgotten)? Thanks :)
