Beauty Advent Calendars 2015

It's no secret that advent calendars have been around for ages and have been popular among kids and adults alike. Typically housed in cheap cardboard packaging with perforated "boxes" that hold a single chocolate, it used to be the stuff of kids' dreams and adults' guilty pleasures.

Nowadays, the beauty world is latching on to the potential commercial success of advent calendars, and in my humble opinion, I believe a large part of that is thanks to the rise of the YouTuber. We beauty youtubers have ooohed and aahed every year for the past 2-3 years, doing vlogmas or #VLEEKMAS (daily vlogs until Christmas) and opening up an advent calendar is just that extra treat that rounds out the day.

This year, retailers have gone all-out. Here are a few of my favorites. You've been warned though, they've got quite the price tag on them! No longer are these bargain buys to get minis and travel-size products to stock up on for the year. Now, the advent calendars even surpass the $300 mark! ?
