A little annoyed about the fact that my belt chose to ride up a little during the pictures, but whatev. I shouldn't dwell on it.  Nothing's perfect! It can be hard to pull off a boyish, businessman-like vest without looking too androgenous.

But even with a crisp white shirt, I felt the sailor-button style dark wash jeans, straw-bucket bag, dagger-like hot pink stilletos, and sparkly bangles helped avoid looking too masculine. What do you think? I had fun with the braid - it's the first time I've been able to braid my hair in a very long time!

My belated birthday present from HB came in yesterday...and it was.....THIS! Oooh it's so pretty and I'm such a lucky girl. I'm a DY fanatic.

Psst...guess what? Today is Friday, May 7th, and that means I am officially done with my second year of medical school!
