National Donate Your Hair Day

I'm excited to share with you that today is National Donate Your Hair Day and the start of Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths #8or8 Challenge and as I've already mentioned previously, I'm partnering up with Pantene to encourage people to either give $8 or donate 8 inches of hair to help create free, real-hair wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.

These wigs are distributed free of charge to women with cancer through American Cancer Society Wig Banks!

Please help support this cause by tagging @Pantene and using the hashtag #8or8 and #BeautifulLengths. Then, click here to donate your $8 through One Today by Google if you aren't able to cut off 8 inches of your hair. If you are able to donate your hair, please do so--shorter locks are on-trend and it only helps that you're helping someone in need. I encourage you to challenge your friends by sharing your donation and encouraging them to participate in the #8or8 Challenge! Another easy way to participate in the giving is by retweeting @Pantene's "Charitweets" all day on September 8th (today) for instructions on how to donate to the cause.

Remember: many of the women we help say that putting on a wig makes them "feel like themselves again" during arguably the toughest fight of their lives. And when people like YOU across the country and world donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, you are helping make that happen.
