It's rare that I get up and talk to you about a single product in a blog post, but this deserves to be mentioned. I'm in love with a lotion--and I'm pretty sure it loves me back (at least, my skin thinks so). I'll bet you didn't guess it was from Vaseline. Their new serum-based restorative lotion (called Vaseline Intensive Care™ Healing Serum) has my hands clapping in celebration, because finally there is a lotion that 1) sinks in quickly 2) moisturizes deeply 3) doesn't feel sticky and 4) smells intoxicating. And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get your hands on it (hooray!).
My favorite iteration comes in one of the three formulas--the "Deep Repair" version has notes of amber, jasmine, and sandalwood (I know, fancy, right?) and moisturizes deeply to heal rough, cracked skin. The "Advanced Relief" formula comes in a white and purple tube and has notes of rose, amber, and vanilla and claims to moisturize and calm severely dry skin. The third is "Radiance Restore" and has aromas of cocoa butter and blackcurrant (yum).
And at a suggested retail price of $7.99, you get to avoid walking into a fancy department store, while getting amazing-smelling, soft and moisturized skin at just a fraction of the price. Bingo.
I liked it so much, I featured it in my most current Monthly Favorites video (below)!
Vaseline know a way into a girl's heart...smother her in Magnolia Bakery cookies. Nom nom.
