Bloggers Do Sequins Better

bloggers do the sequin trend better

Hot off the presses: get out your disco ball, your sequins, your glittery heels, and your most gorgeous beauty look.

It’s time for the first Bloggers Do It Better of 2012, and we’re starting it off on the right (well-heeled) foot: SEQUINS.

Just in time for your New Years’ festivities, I can only imagine many of you will be wearing sequins to a New Years Eve party (I know I will).

To participate, you’ll need the badge in your blog’s sidebar (get yours here), and you’ll need to post a picture of you in your sequins on your blog on January 6, 2012. On Jan 6th at midnight (-0600 GMT), there will be a post here on PSS with a widget allowing you to link up your post. Happy sequinning!

Don’t spend too much! Thrift stores are a great place to find glittery treasures. I can’t believe you read PSS and don’t own any sequin items!! Cracks me up! :)

oh that’s soo cool! I never participated in that, but this time i will! Well, at least I’ll try…
But I have a little question: do i have to post the photo with me in sequins until january 6th or on january 6th?

You read my mind, I totally am wearing sequins for New Years and was planning on posting the outfit on my blog before I knew about this. I’m so excited !! :D

Well I’ll be in pajamas for NYE but will have a think about what I would have worn, there definitely would have been sequins involved!

I’ve never participated in a BDIB post before…does the post have to solely be about the outfit or does it just need to feature it? Are there any other “rules” for this?

Hey there – the post should be an outfit post, and should be created for the challenge specifically. Other than the sidebar button (to show you’re a member), you’ll just need to link back to the challenge or the BDIB page somehow for a valid entry – that’s it. happy posting!
