Consignment

As a beauty and style blogger, you know this girl can accumulate quite a fair few treasures. I also have hoarding tendencies, but thanks to my husband’s suggestion and the power of the Luxury Managers via the White Glove service at The RealReal, I’ve managed to select a few treasures from my collection that I want to see in a better home. A home where they can be cherished, loved, and not relegated to one of my closets, packed prettily away, never used. I’m an Editor at heart, and I desperately needed to edit down my collection.Read & Comment →

“Kristmas” Gift Guide

Every year I do a gift guide here on PSS, but this is the first time I’ve ever filmed it with the products actually in my hands! Man does it make the difference! Ignore the dog-toy squeaks in the background. It seems to be unavoidable when you’re filming in your living room for the classic, “look-at-my-Christmas-tree” background. *winks*

Gift Guide: Tarte

tarte-gift-sets1sm

Continuing my holiday gift guide, this year’s offerings from tarte are a nice mix. I was sent the blush palette a few months ago and I’ve been absolutely loving it. I love when my favorite products get put into one palette of goodness–and the tarte Amazonian Clay blushes are probably my favorite formulation of blush ever. Super long lasting, the perfect amount of pigmentation, great colors…what’s there not to love?Read & Comment →

Fashionable iPhone 6 / 6 Plus Cases

Tip: Use the [+] signs above to shop the image!

Whether you’re an iPhone user or not, you cannot deny the hysteria that takes over the lives of Apple fanatics. I, myself am one of them. I’m not ashamed to admit that I set an alarm for 2am CDT on Sep 9 and spent an hour cursing at my keyboard, Apple, and Verizon. Fortunately, I was able to score a phone of my very own–a very welcome thing indeed considering my own iPhone 5 is missing chunks and has a non-working sleep/wake button.Read & Comment →

Back to School/Work Bag Basics

Now, I’m a “far beyond” graduate: the perpetual student. Beauty, Food, Technology Haul

It’s shopping haul time! This time I’ve got quite the assorted mix for you lovelies. I’m ashamed to say I purchased all of the below items in one single day. My wallet was crying by the end of it, but ultimately I am happy with everything I’ve purchased (though I haven’t tried the salt toothpaste quite yet–I’m waiting for my current toothpaste to run out and then I will try this intimidating-sounding toothpaste. With trepidation.Read & Comment →
