I had a GREAT month when it came to favorites. Getting the flu–not so great. But that’s behind me now, so let’s enjoy, shall we? Click to read more! But Wait! There's More →
While you’ll normally see me with a bright pink lip most days (that I’m not working, that is), when it comes time for autumn, I can’t help but gravitate towards a deep, plum berry lip. Case in point: this gorgeous color called Amethyst #165 by Dolce & Gabbana. Gorgeous shade. As with all darker lipsticks, make sure your lips are well conditioned and exfoliated before applying. Try mixing granulated sugar in some olive oil for a quick, DIY lip scrub!

Lately I’ve been trying a new thing with my haircare routine and I thought I would share it with you, in case you happen to be one of those
unlucky women cursed blessed with fine, limp hair like mine. Warning, this is NOT for thick or very dry hair! I use this shampoo and this conditioner, but I’m not sure you actually need this particular set- just a nourishing, hydrating, sulfate-free set will do the trick just fine. Let me know how it works for you! What do you think? Any hair care tips you’d care to share with us?
I had a little too much fun at my local LUSH store this weekend. For the uninitiated, LUSH is a handmade bath and body product company. Everything is made fresh (and thus, has an expiration date). You even can see who made your particular product for you! What did you do this weekend?

I hope you’ve been having fun, too. I wish I had a screenshot of Pretty Shiny Sparkly’s original design…boy that was a doozy!
Today I’m sharing my October favorites with you in a video (above) and Gidget makes a special appearance somewhere in the clip so make sure you watch it all!
Hope you had a happy Halloween! Did you do anything fun? What’s your favorite Halloween candy? Let me know in the comments below!
I have been dying to try the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders for some time now, but hadn’t gotten around to it until my inbox tickled me with an exciting release: a new Ambient Lighting Palette, featuring a new, never-released shade, enticingly called “Incandescent Light”. Along with Dim Light and Radiant Light, and the 5ml freebie Veil Mineral Primer in the set, I could barely contain my enthusiasm. But Wait! There's More →
I don’t think anything has been more requested on my blog, than this review. Honestly, I’m blown away by how many of you clamored for me to review my new planner, an Erin Condren Life Planner 2013/2014 – Gold Edition. I’m seriously impressed! Up until a week prior to ordering, I had never heard of Erin Condren products before. Blog readers recommended her products to me and I finally succumbed. Once I watched the life planner video, I was sold. Of course, I watched a few YouTube reviews first before taking the plunge. Click to see the video review! But Wait! There's More →
