Blazer- Zara, Top- New York & Co., Jeans- J Brand, Necklace- New York Design Shop, Watch- Toywatch Plasteramic, Bracelet- Tiffany & Co.

Hey friends, new and old! You may recognize this from my guest post on Jessica’s blog–I’ve posted it here today so those of you who live under a rock haven’t seen it can! It’s been so nice getting to know you newcomers–I’ve been checking out the blogs of everyone who’s commented–your talent and beauty is overwhelming!

I’ve gotten so many requests for more professional-themed outfit posts lately, that I just couldn’t say no! And you know I love a challenge. While you may not opt to wear a crystal-studded bib necklace to the office at 8am, I wouldn’t be Pretty Shiny Sparkly without some dazzle–right?!

For even more work-friendliness (like if it’s not casual Friday), switch the pumps to cute ballet flats with bows on them, switch out the jeans for slacks (if your office is more formal), and you’ve got yourself a comfy, stylish work look.

It’s crazy how being ash blonde can mean drastically different hair color on camera depending on the light’s angle. Above, it looks like I’m totally blonde again! I will say that the haircolor has faded quite a bit. It’s like my hair just rejects color, I swear I don’t know what to do with it.

Oh, hair.

Happy Wednesday to you! If you’re new here, why don’t you subscribe, enter the outfit challenge contest (you could win $1000!), follow me on Twitter or Bloglovin’, friend me on the Book of Face, or just say hi. Hi!

The social bar above is my tip jar. Pin, Like, and Tweet if you please!

Love, Kristina

LOVE your blazer and your hair! My 'new' haircut looks a lot like yours now. My bangs are growing out and I can sweep them to either side. ;)

Also, I am petite and curvy and looking for some new skinny jeans…what cut are the Jbrand jeans??

I found your blog through the guest post you did for Jessica! Love it – your dress philosophy is one I fully endorse :) What is better than being Pretty, Shiny, and Sparkly? In both clothes and personality?? :)

Just found your blog and I love it! It is so nice to see blogs where the person is not in the fashion career. I am currently a pre-med student and I feel like I am the only one in my major that cares how I dress/look. Love that blazer, though!

Hey! I love your jeans! And I have to go to Houston for work every so often… I've been to the Galleria, where else should I go? Any cute stores that I have to try?

Thanks <3 Stef

I love Zara in the Galleria, but for uniqueness you should check out some of the many boutique shops on Kirby and in Rice Village! Also, if you're a Project Runway fan, Lot 8 is on Kirby, it's by PR winner Chloe Dao!

I'll definitely have to stop over, I love PR. I'll definitely be in Houston in November and probably in October. Thanks for the tip!

Found your blog through Jessica's. You are way too cute. Love your outfit. Does the blazer have buttons on the sleeve? I've never rolled mine but want to….how did you make them look so nice?

oooo blazers! I love that they are so classy and can be worn in so many ways. From with jeans, as you wore it, or as a dress like this:

They just never get old.
