Feeling Feline & Fabulous

I love the big cat trend that’s been prowling around the fashion scene in recent months. These shoes are a perfect interpretation of the trend – platform with studs and rhinestones, with cheetah printed on calf hair–gorgeous!! Animal prints (faux of course) are so fun, and should not be restricted to Lisa Frank stickers or the 1980′s! I’m so glad it’s back. Fashion trends have been more and more conservative (I think of it like a pendulum swinging) so it’s nice to see that amongst all the muted tones, camel coats, relaxed slacks, and crisp tailoring, there is a little splash of leopard here and there to perk up an outfit!

My beloved (that’s HB, which does not stand for husband by the way!) flew back from Ft. Worth this past weekend to celebrate our 2 year anniversary (dating, not married…yet lol!). I missed him so much, and we had a great time making the most of the 36-or-so hours we had in each others’ company. He’s now in Los Angeles for his second away-rotation, at USC, and in three short weeks I will be on a plane to spend my week’s vacation with him in sunny L.A.!

Thought I would share with you my latest wishlist (since that’s what this blog initially started as, an outlet for my impulsive consumerism!)….

  • Moroccanoil Light treatment (for blonde/fine hair)
  • Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray (inspired by Taylor!)
  • Montblanc Bohème Doué pen

Oh, and I’ve heard you loud and clear – will definitely be doing a video review of the beauty blender soon! Thanks loves!

Did you change your hair again? Like it, it just doesn't seem as ash. A little blonder?

New Haircut?

Likethe shoes and top! Pretty outside scenes.

Moroccanoil is the BEST! It's definitely worth the splurge. It really lives up to the hype and it smells amazing. I haven't tried the light version, but I'm obsessed with the regular formula.

I love how it's simple and neutral, with a touch of animal print on the shoes. great look, Kristina!

This is the first time that I have come across your site, and so far, I am loving the things you have posted! The shoes that you highlighted in this post are awesome! I'm definitely going to find myself some printed shoes this fall. Also, how do you manage your time so well – fashion + med school = busy busy?!

Wow, those shoes… there are no words. Also, I loved your guest post on WIW; that pink blazer is adorable! I, too, wore a blazer recently [see my #3 post!] and while it was fine when I was working in the office, as soon as I left I was regretting it. :] Ahhhh Dallas weather. XO

OMG!! I am visiting from WIW and read that you have a chi-weenie! Me too! They are some of the weirdest looking dogs, but in an uber cute way. I love my Starla. She makes appearances on my blog from time to time:) Most people can't figure out what she is, and when I say Chi-weenie they just laugh. It's such a cute breed name. Anyways, I'm glad I stumbled on your blog. You have great style!

Just came across your blog after reading your guest post on WhatIWore and I think I'm obsessed. As a student and new blogger, I'm so inspired by the fact that you can find time to blog while going to med school.

I've never really been a leopard girl but as of late I'm coming around. Those pumps make me swoon.

Ohhhh….if we were to ever meet, I just might steal your watch. I've had my eye on it for a while. Perhaps I should just buy one….but that sounds crazy. =)
