How to: Flawless Undereye Circle Concealment

Hey guys. I apologize for two back-to-back video blogs, but it’s been hard trying to coordinate with my fiancé to take some outfit photos….and especially since I’ve been wearing scrubs all week! I also promise not to specifically blog every single video I post to YouTube – but that also means that you’ll need to subscribe in order to catch all of my videos!

I thought I would share with you my routine for perfectly (or nearly perfectly) concealing undereye circles and puffiness, with a look that is just shy of a blepharoplasty.

Products used:
Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer, $28-42
Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder, $34
Sephora Large Powder brush, $32
Laura Mercier secret camouflage brush, $26

Do I think you need the concealer? Yes. Do I think you absolutely must have the brand names of any of the other products? Absolutely not. Brushes from the drugstore/high street are perfectly fine–however, when it comes to translucent powder you do tend to get what you pay for. The closest drugstore version of the powder would have to be Coty’s Airspun translucent powder. Happy concealing!

I am plagued with under eye circles and found this video very helpful! I have a few concealers I really like, but the idea of blending it into a triangle shape is something to try plus translucent powder. Thanks for the tips!

Great post, I’m going to give this concealer a try. I already use a Laura Mercier concealer but I have serious puffiness and dark circles (for all the reasons you listed) and I think the Amazing product may help. Thanks a bunch!
Also, I thought you looked fantastic w/o the concealer! At first I thought you already had it on! :)

  Laura Mercier concealer works great but I always have a hard time blending it because it tends to be more cake-y rather than thick creamy. I would never have thought thick gooey creamy concealer would’ve been good for under my eyes, but as long as you set it, it really works!

Awesome video! I had recently read about Amazing Concealer and now can’t wait to try it out :) If you wear a tinted moisturizer, would you recommend putting that on before the concealer? Thanks!

  Absolutely — foundation always before concealer. However, I will warn you that amazing concealer is so heavy, it might look a little unbalanced next to the light coverage that a tinted moisturizer provides. I would see if yours works, many tinted moisturizers have varying degrees of coverage. if you find that it doesn’t match evenly, add a tiny bit of true foundation to a foundation brush and blend in just the front-most parts of the cheeks (on either sides of the nose) and blend out.
