LuShae Jewelry sent me this gorgeous ring for my honest review, and I am so glad I agreed. Hot-diggity-dog this is one sparkly ring. I was concerned at first because of
- the size (I got a size 5 and was worried it would be too small), and
- the baguettes (I know they give the least “fire” of any cut).
My fears were allayed yesterday when I opened the beautiful blue jewelry box and slipped on this sparkling ring. Hello, lovely.
For a cash-strapped fashionista like myself, LuShae jewelry is just pricey enough to reflect its true quality & craftsmanship, but more affordable than the real thing. It’s also great as a replacement for your fine jewelry (wedding rings!) when you go on vacation to, I don’t know, the Amazon. Because that’s where fashionistas travel to. The Amazon.
Or New York City. Which would you rather be mugged wearing? Hmm.
Some caveats: The only warning I have about the above ring is that (as with any prong-set eternity band) it tends to poke your neighboring fingers a bit. If you have problems with this in the past, I might suggest a channel-set ring, which is completely smooth. I like this prong-set’s metallic presence, though; it adds shine to the sparkle.

I went to the site, and picked the Mystic ring.
We’ve been married just about 13 yrs. I’d love to have an easy ring that I don’t have to worry about. I was supposed to get a ring ‘upgrade’ if you will on our 10th Anniv. but then we decided to buy our first house. So now most of our budget goes to those pesky mortgage payments. As for me, I love the sterling silver flower bud earrings. One is because I already have a huge fetish for earrings. In my opinion, they’re the most convenient piece of jewelry you can wear without really getting in the way of whatever work you do (whereas rings you either have to keep on or take off when you wash your hands, necklaces can weigh down on your neck, etc). Second, this style of earrings is not similar to anything I own currently and I love the types of earrings that resemble clip ons. Only concern is that they might get a little heavy when I wear them but I’m willing to risk that. The flower design also reminds me of starfish!!!

I simply love the Elegant Cross Pendant. My mom passed away on Oct 17th (that is her in the pic with me) and she had a lovely cross very similar to this one; being able to wear this would remind me of mom and make me feel that much closer to her!

I am smitten with the Jet Black Enamel Breeze Ring and would be thrilled to have and wear it! I’m a graduate student taking a full load of coursework, working to pay for it, and completing a mandatory (unpaid, I should add) internship. Not gonna lie, the comment above from someone who wants a pendant like her dead mom’s probably deserves to win. Besides the fact that nothing can beat that, I can only come up with reasons why I don’t deserve to win.

I went ahead and selected the 2 Hearts Promise Ring. The reason for this is because I will soon have to be moving out of my state of Arizona for a job, and this unfortunately means that my girlfriend of 4 years and I will have to separate amicably, as she will be unable to come with me. That being the case, I’ve been toying with ideas for ceremonies, or things of that nature that we may be able to do, and I think that being able to present her with something like this would be an incredibly beautiful gesture.

I think I like the summer bouquet pendant the best (or maybe lucent, but I’m not sure). I don’t know why I might deserve it over anyone else (I probably don’t) but I can say that as a mother expecting her second child next month, my wants are always what I put at the bottom of priority. I LOVE the ribbon ring. The simplicity of it really suits me and I would wear it everyday. I like rings that are silver and simple. This is so interesting though, it’s not your typical banded ring with a big jewel in the middle. It looks like a bow which are my favorite on jewelry.

My mom does everything in the world for me. I’ve gone through some really rough times trying to hold my sanity together, and though my problems may not be that huge, my mother’s always there with a shoulder to cry on and a glass of chocolate milk (yeah, I’ll own it; who doesn’t like chocolate milk?). She’s been the person I’ve gone to about everything and the closest person in my life. I don’t know what I’d do without her. I’ve recently come under serious financial troubles and can’t afford to buy her a gift for her upcoming birthday (march 15th). I know that this isn’t the most heart wrenching story, but I’d love to see my mom’s face as she opened up this beautiful and unexpected gift that might help her feel as wonderful and loved as she’s made me feel.

It was very hard to pick just one thing… But, I think the ‘Hope Ring’ is my favorite. I would love to win it b/c it would be a wonderful reminder to have hope, even in situations that don’t seem incredibly hopeful. I was diagnosed w/ Lymphoma last year and although it’s stage 4 & untreatable, I always remain hopeful about the future. I can’t say I necessarily *deserve* this more than anyone else, but I would really appreciate it. So much of my jewelry is crap from Forever 21 and Target, but I’ve lately grown to have some appreciation for more well-made pieces. I don’t think I’ll ever be the kind of girl who can afford tons of real diamonds (and I’m not sure I would want to risk running around with thousands of dollars worth of baubles on me!) but I still like the classic look. As for why I deserve to win.. I am a single mom! That should be reason enough right? Its so hard to say why you “deserve” something.. especially as a mom. We tend to undervalue ourselves.

My Husband and I got pregnant three months after we graduated high school, got married 5 months later. it took him until our one year anniversary (oct 21st 2009) to get me a wedding ring. we went to downtown portland and bought me one in a cool custom ring shop. on our way home my hand got stuck in the MAX. gone. a year of saving up GONE. I now have a 2$ ring from target with missing fake sparkly things. it turned my finger green. I really want the Matte wedding band. really bad. size seven, cuz i am not skinny.
I would love the pearl drop earrings! It would make me so happy to recieve something nice in the mail box. My kids are making me crazy and my husband is about to leave for 3 weeks and then deploy a short time later. I am freaking out! Ok.. I am not in full panic mode yet, but the closer it gets the more I fret. I have had a lot of trouble with the kids and school this year since we PCS’d to here from LA. I am about to pull my hair out. The earrings would distract from the bald patches:)
Everything is so sparkly! I love it! I am such a sucker for anything glittery or sparkly…which is why I am having such a hard time choosing! Stepping Stones Ring is my favorite just because I would want a ring that is a little more durable and I wouldn’t have to worry about it falling apart at school or anything. It’s just as attention-getting as the others!

I deserve the Canary Princess because first of all I have always wanted a canary diamond and well of course I am a broke college student so I can not afford one actually I probably will never be able to and I think I have worked so hard this semester that I deserve something special and this ring would remind me to keep up my hard work because maybe one day I will be able to get that diamond.

I’m not one for buying frivolous things, I actually just own a pair of earrings and a ring that I never take off(not even for showering! I do clean them well though.) and they were given to me on separate occasions. They mean a lot to me even though they’re not $100+ pieces that people go ga-ga for; they hold great memories. I’ve always held off on buying anything expensive for me that doesn’t have an integral function(do I NEED this?) because money has always been an issue. I think I deserve this because I’ve held off too long on wearing something pretty and I’m ready for a piece to add(my only pair of earrings are deteriorating) to my very small collection of treasures.
I would choose the Sapphire Regal Ring or the Eternity Hoops earrings, depending on if Rhodium is hypoallergenic(can’t find it anywhere, my ears are sensitive).

Not sure if I’m deserving of much, but it sure would be a nice pick-me-up. Last month, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The world turned upside down, but we’re leaning on hope and faith that all will be ok.

Now I’m scheduled for a biopsy on lefty boob. So horseshoes for good luck would be lovely. Or pink earrings for a breast cancer reminder would be nice as well.

I love the Unique Amethyst Cocktail Ring in size 5. I think I deserve it because I’m a mother of two and never have money to purchase anything for myself. My kids always come first so even simple things for myself are usually put off till another time.

I’m sure a lot of people here deserve a nice piece of jewelry but I can’t remember the last time I’ve actually bought something nice for myself! It honestly never happens.
