March Favorites

by Kristina on April 3, 2010

You: *knock* on forehead Um, Kristina? You DO realize it is totally April, right?

Me: Yep.

You: Then why are you titling this post March Favorites?

Me: Because they were my favorite things in March! Silly, *insert-your-name-here*!

  1. Laura Mercier Face Polish, $30 – for making my skin feel like a baby every time I use it. I’m addicted, and will use for life. End of story.
  2. Laura Mercier Silk Crème Foundation, $42 – for your full coverage awesomeness, without making me look like I have an ounce of foundation on. I love you.
  3. Laura Mercier One-Step Cleanser, $35 – for possessing the characteristics of a cleanser, makeup remover, and toner in one. My lazy ass thanks you.
  4. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat, $5? – due to my unfailing ability to smudge something after a freshly applied manicure, I was unable to successfully wear polish for an extended amount of time. Then you came into my life. You dry my polish in 30 seconds, as promised, and now I can unzip my jeans to pee, sooner. Catheter no longer required. Yay.

Pink Ranunculus — So pretty! Current fave bloom.

I’m totally loving my pink Sony Bloggie which my adorable mother gifted me from my wishlist. I’ve been taking random video clips here and there from my wanderings around the city, and hope to create a short collage video with some really hip music in the background. Why anyone would want to watch a video following me around town is beyond me.

Well, would you? Watch, that is? P.S. – Test out the spiffy new comment system, and check your inboxes (or this page) for the newsletter which came out today!

Love, Kristina

Love this bit ‘I was unable to successfully wear polish for an extended amount of time. Then you came into my life. You dry my polish in 30 seconds, as promised, and now I can unzip my jeans to pee, sooner.’ it made me laugh, I even sent it to a few friends :) Will be getting it too, so I can pee sooner ;)

Um, I didn't my name on the list. An oversight I assume or will I be on the "My Faves From 2010" list? Just keep me abreast. Thanks.

Love the pink ranunculus! And I'll have to check out the Sally Hansen polish. Up until now, the only thing I've found to help is Essie's Good to Go. This is definitely less expensive. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for visiting my blog!

I LOVE Laura Mercier. I've almost used up my Philosophy face wash and was going to get the Laura Mercier cleansing oil – have you tried that? I'm easily influenced and tempted to get the one-step cleanser instead based on your suggestion :-)

I have oily skin so the cleansing oil isn't for me (though I've heard it's great for sensitive, dry skin). I like the one-step cleanser myself since it tones & everything, which my oily t-zone needs desperately. I think next time I'm going to try the foamy version since the creamy one (shown above) doesn't lather up much. but that may just be the nature of the product
