I’m looking to expand my perfume collection because living with my sister that has over 60 bottles I never had to purchase any but  few of my faves are Dior – Poison, the original Juicy one cannot remember the name, narciso rodriguez for her, burberry brit,
Hanae Mori Butterfly and so on.

I’m not a huge every day perfume, but I do remember that I wore Vera Wang Eau de Parfum on my wedding day.  I guess my every day scent, if it can be called that, is Armani Mania.

I love your videos! Keep them coming!  I need to review all of your makeup videos before NYFW.

Actually, I have heard a whole lot of negative reviews of Chloe edp. But I am a ardent reader of many perfume blogs. Many of them refer to its as a detergent scent, etc. But I like it.
Have you tried Marchesa d’extase yet? It is powdery and floral, and sweet. I love it, and wonder what you think?

This is such a timely post for me because I’m looking for a new scent to try! I’m 17 and the five that you mentioned that most stood out to me are Chole, Vera Wang Princess, Dior Hypnotic Poison, Jo Malone and the Prada one.

I typically find that the powdery, heavier scents give me headaches (opposite of you, haha!) but those seemed to be more up my ally, and I do love a sophisticated floral and/or fresh scent! I’d love to hear your opinion of which you think I’d like best!

I only own two perfumes! My latest is the Coach Poppy and it’s alright, not my favorite, but I do like how it’s ‘light’ (or not very strong/heavy). That’s something I always look for in a perfume. Are any of the ones I mentioned of yours light?

Thanks so much for this post! I haven’t watched one like this where people go through their perfumes–so interesting! And you seem like an expert since you’ve tried so many!

    Un air De Molinard……
This was bought for me from a friend who was visiting Nice…..I have no idea if I can get it here. It is a gorgeous scent…..I am in ration mode! The bottle is also so beautiful ….it is carved blue with an atomizer. It makes me feel lovely.

    Great video!!!

My two go-to’s are so different from one another: Fleurissimo by Creed (if you haven’t tried their perfumes, I would highly recommend them!), and Chance by Chanel…one is very floral and the other slightly peppery! I  also love For her Eau de Perfum by Narciso Rodriguez and Daisy Eau so Fresh by Marc Jacobs.

I love how perfumes smell differently from person to person. My sister smells amazing in Armani Code, but it really does not compliment me…!

I have been wearing Calvin Klein Euphoria for about 6 years and LOVE it  but, your video has inspired me to give something new a go.  Like you, certain fragrances give me massive headaches.

I recently tried La Prairie Midnight Rain and I really love it.  For the first time in my life, I finished a bottle and went out and immediately replaced it.  For the two or three days in between, I missed it!  Here is the description:

This delicious floral is built around sensual woods, juicy watery top
notes and natural, rich, yet young florals creating a sensation of
    pleasure, comfort and richness.
    • Top notes of guava, mandarin, pomegranate, and freesia.
    • Heart notes of white lily, vanilla orchid, plum flower and amber flower.
    • Base notes of patchouli, vetyver, cashmere woods and musk.

I also am a fragrance junkie.  I am always going online to research new fragrances.   Some from my collection are Harvey Prince Eau De Creme, Versace Crystal Noir, Roberto Cavalli Serpentine, “F” by Ferraagamo, Chloe Narcisse, and Van Cleef & Arpel Oriens.

Pretty sure I could go on and on about perfumes – they are my favorite cosmetics indulgence by far. My signature scent, my all-time favorite, is Tom Ford’s Black Orchid. When I’m feeling old school, I’ll wear  Obsession.  Wore that for years, in my 20s. I once wore Cool Water, because a guy told me he liked it.  (Mistake, on so many levels, really.)

I tend to gravitate towards vetiver and tobacco base notes, but lately, I’ve been trying to try different things.  This past summer I wore Jo Malone’s White Jasmine and Mint every day – it’s super light and clean, but not bright. I’m currently wearing Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire. I had a hard time choosing between that and Hypnotic Poison, which I love.  Next up, I thought I might try Fracas  or Acqua di Parma, but you having me thinking that the revamped Chloe is worth a look.

Is it wrong that every now and then I’m not above trying some Love’s Baby Soft, Liz Claiborne, or (don’t judge) Exclamation! now and then? Wore them all in high school.  :)

I couldn’t resist a second comment.  After watching your videos I started browsing Sephora and finding all of these perfumes that I used love and hadn’t thought of in years. BCBG Star was something I wore in my 20s  (http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Max-Azria/BCBGirls-Metro-9505.html). It was the first fragrance that got compliments from strangers. “Oh, what are you wearing?”  I remember loving Sunflowers, Clinique Happy, and Origins Spring Fever. Definitely all fresh, sparkly scents.

I remember the first perfume I received from a sweetheart – Ysatis by Givenchy.  Real perfume, the kind you dab on your wrists rather than spray. I was 19, and my mother was not pleased. (It was too sophisticated, in her mind. She was probably right, but I wore it anyway.)

YSL’s Paris was another favorite – my college roommate introduced me to that.

Dior Addict (that was my first foray away from girly scents into heady/spicy/Oriental ones). I loved (still love, actually) the bottle.

Okay, I’ll stop now – but gosh, your videos brought up such fun memories for me! Thanks so much!

Just bought the original Coach fragrance with some Christmas money and I’m loving it. It came in a set which included lotion and a purse size roller. Not overpowering, just fresh and soft… and it makes me feel pretty. My go to before this purchase was Dior’s Hypnotic Poison. Always received compliments.

(Also – *Thank you so much for the BB cream suggestions. Ordered the gold Skin79 and have been using it for a couple of weeks. My skin has never looked better!)

My favorite always will be Coco Mademosille but am looking for some new ones to venture
into.  I will definitely look at some of these.  I also like Chanel #22 but it is sometimes hard to find.  I would really like to see you do a video on how you organize all  your make-up, skin care products,  nail products, perfumes, etc.  Do you have a drawer for each or what?
    Love the videos!

I am currently Angel. I wore it a few years ago, and now I am wearing it again. Its lusty, heady, sensual, and sexy. Some may not agree, and it is not for everybody. But one thing I love is its distinguished scent that you can pick apart from anywhere and smell it and know right when you walk by someone wearing it. It’s great for me!

Great review on your fav scents! Of the one’s you picked, I love Vera Wang, Princess! It has a light sweet spring-y scent that I think I would wear when the weather warms up!

Great video! I didn’t used to be into perfumes but once I hit my twenties there was no going back lol! I am now obsessed with Armani’s Aqua di Gioia! that’s what I’m wearing daily these days or I’ll switch off for a Juicy Couture scent which are also lightly and sweetly scented. For night events or date nights I’ll switch to Dolce & Gabbana’s the One or Chrisitan Dior Hypnotic Poison.

My signature scent has been Angel for years, I’ve tried many others but nothing has seemed to quite compare. I went to Sephora last night after thinking about this post and got Flower Bomb and Poison; oh my goodness you are SO right about how wonderful each of these is alone, but together they create this magical intoxicating scent! I love this thank you so much for the brilliant recommendation!

I am still looking for my “signature scent” – I love  Miss Dior a lot but I’m hesitant for some reason. …. but really, I just LOVE YOUR collection… I want it! LOL <3

I have worn Amarige by Givenchy for the last 22 years. I love the idea of being associated with a signature scent. My new favorite is CoCo Mademoiselle by Chanel but I’m a little tight so I’m waiting for the extra cash to get it. :) I love fragrance so I enjoyed this video. Thanks!
