My Travel Essentials

Today I wanted to share with you my travel essentials! These are the toiletries (not skincare specific) that I always stock in my travel Dopp/toiletry kit so that I have it ready to go at a moment’s notice. This saves me a TON of time and energy when packing for my next overnight stay somewhere. I hope you find it useful! I like to have the kit ready to go even when I’m not planning on going anywhere so that I can shop for travel/miniature items with a clear mind and free of the time constraints. My makeup bag and toiletry bag are both from this website. All other items are purchased from my local drugstore/Target. Hope you find this useful!

Where are you planning on traveling to next? Let me know in the comments below!

I wish you would do a series on the technical aspects of what you do. For example, when your feed comes to me, you have a static picture showing but when I come to your article, only the video is here. How do you get a unclickable picture in your feed but only the video in your article. What kind of camera/lighting do you use? Are your videos mostly one shot or do your edit them a lot? (I do see useful edits sometimes). Anyway, that’s what i think about! PS. this was a great video and as I am traveling soon, liked the idea of the GO bottles. THanks.

Super helpful! I’m about to travel to Denver for the bar exam. I’m so stressed and worried and know I’m bound to forget something. Helpful to have a reminder!

Good luck emily. I live in Denver and we are having a huge snow storm right now so bring lots of warm clothes.

The extreme joy I get when I find a travel sized version of my regular product is ridiculous, so I’m glad to know I’m not alone! I use the Organix shampoos daily and love that they come in a mini travel size. I’ve also been known to buy a particular bottle of a product (Cetaphil) when I see it packaged with a travel size, even if I didn’t need a new bottle!

I love that Glitzy Glam bag! Also, I’ve never seen the Clarisonic travel case. I definitely have to look for one next time I head to Ulta or Sephora. I usually just throw the cap onto the head before throwing it in my bag. However, I find that it ALWAYS makes everything in my bag wet because it never fully dries.

Great video Kristina, love your blog! I was actually wondering if you could do an update on how you are liking your Lifeplanner so far? Is it still as great as ever? Thank you!

I to the same thing- I never take full sized products on holiday just the little miniatures. http://fashionfollowsher.com/

I love the personalized bag! It’s a pretty color, too.

I used to get migraines all the time. Sometimes they’d last over 2 days straight. Are you eating anything with artificial sweeteners? I realized that the majority of them trigger my migraines (aspartame, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Sucralose, etc). Once I started avoiding all foods that have those ingredients, my migraines have vanished! They’re also found in almost all chewing gum, so be careful.

Your headaches!! Get those checked out!! If I don’t maintain… regular sleep, regular meal schedule (high in protein), light exercise (walking) and stretching… then I will get them daily. A majority of the time, they are stress/tension related and I have a great acupuncturist that I work with to maintain my stress levels and neck/shoulder tension. The front of my neck is where I hold all my tension and then it creeps to the back of the neck and shoulders. If that feels similar to you (super stiff neck?), then it should be an easy fix :)
P.S. You mentioned The Vampire Diaries… If you watch show… keep an eye out for one of my necklaces coming up in Episode 15 (season 5), being worn by Bonnie! :)

if you are getting stress and tension headaches i would recommend pilates and i woulsd also recoomend a more agressive activity like crossfit. kick boxing. dancing. It worked for me i need an outlet and walking and pilates wasnt enough.
