Neutral Territory

Neutral Territory

I’ve always been a huge fan of monochromatic color schemes – whether it’s in the form of creamy-white soothing rooms in interior design magazines, or more recently, the neutrality trend in fashion this year. It’s a trend that stuck with us far past its spring introduction, and I’m so glad it did.

Forever 21 top & cami, American Eagle shorts (seen here), Jeffrey Campbell shoes (seen here), Forever 21 armor/finger rings, gifted bracelets & ring

Besides its relaxing & calming properties, I really like the fact that neutrals can be a subtle mix of both warm and cool tones. And since I am one of those gals who has a 50/50 proportion of gold & silver accessories, it means I can wear both!

This is the last post before I take my big test on Sunday (7.5 hours – yuck!). Wish me luck, I’m going to need it! And if you happen to remember come Sunday, send some positive vibes my way.

Love, Kristina

I love this look! A light color scheme is so beautiful for summer. And even though the shoes are heavy, the color makes them seasonally appropriate!

I'm a big fan of neutrals too – do a lot of nude/black. The only print I really like is leopard. Love your shoes – are they easy to walk in? Best of luck for your test tomorrrow. xx

I hope your test went well! How stressful! Not sure how far along you are in your MD studies, but what do you think your specialty might be?

Hey Emily – I honestly have no idea yet, but I'm leaning towards OB/GYN right now…there's also Emergency Medicine or Pediatrics that I'm considering! I'm a 3rd-year. :)
