Riki Inukai does something very special. She uses fresh leaves from her family garden (she enjoys smelling the leaves when she nips them off). Then she paints the backside of the leaf with 100% silver paste. Paint and dry, paint and dry …and she does this about twenty times. Then she puts in the kiln. After it has fired completely, she polishes it extensively until it does nothing but shine and look beautiful. And that, my friends, is how she makes her lovely leaf jewelry.
She sells her gorgeous jewelry at amazing prices, and delivers usually in 5 days. Did I mention she does this all in Japan? This girl is amazing.
