Psst…There’s still time to nominate Pretty, Shiny, Sparkly for the 2010 Bloggies – the awards for the best weblogs!
Nominations end Jan 12th. Did I mention I’d love you forever?
Sometimes, the red carpet review is all about the accessories. Other times, the shoes. This year, PCA 2010 was all about the dresses. Minis prevailed. Funny, but we thought the PCA’s were more of the hip, fun, casual persuasion as compared to other, more nosebleed-inducing fetes. Oh wells.
Taylor Swift stole the show in yet-another-mini, this one by Jenny Packham. Gorgeous! And, rather unbelievably for the industry, Diane Kruger styled herself! I caught a video glimpse of her describing each place she bought each item of her ensemble (like H&M!). Here are my favorite outfits of the night (check out Carrie’s costume changes!), and scroll down to see what outfit I would have worn to the People’s Choice Awards.
Had I been invited.
But I wasn’t. So. Yeah.
Oh, and I’m planning a very special and enormously huge giveaway, coming up next, so be sure to stay tuned, because it will be fast, sweet, and extremely rewarding. Don’t miss it.

Here’s what I would have worn. Click for more details on each item.

Did you watch the show? What did you think? How funny was it that Mariah Carey couldn’t even walk up the stairs to accept her award without her hubby Nick Cannon helping her up. Maybe I should burn in hell, but mermaid dresses and that ass just don’t mix.
Spring is a lovely time–and not just because my birthday happens to fall around then (May 1st, holla!). It’s full of sunny days, chirping birds, blossoming blooms, and…rainshowers.
But you know PSS has got you covered. Literally.
I’m good like that.
I have a phenomenal obsession with rain boots. Argyle galoshes currently reside in my teeny-weeny closet right now. If I wasn’t such a poor med student, I’d totally buy each and every one of these. But I can’t, so…I’ll share them with you!
Leave it to me to blog vicariously through others. Enjoy!

- MICHAEL Michael Kors $98
- Kate Spade “Randi” $125
- Hunter Original Gloss $125
- KORS Michael Kors $125
- Pour La Victoire “Rus” $216
- Sperry Top-Sider Pelican Tan Plaid $67
Here are some more lovelies. One of them (#2) is rather traditional and I like it very, very much. I’m also hearting #3. The rest are some crazier boots I found that make take a bit more…courage, to wear.

- Chooka Signature Herringbone $70
- Burberry Check Pattern $195
- Fessura Women’s Clear Rain Boot $120
- Kamik Wales Boot in Yellow $60

Do you wear rain boots when it’s slick out? Which of these collections would YOU wear?

PSS did good this year. I got a lovely treasure trove of gifts, and I am so thankful and very blessed to be so fortunate.
Alright.
Humility aside, let’s show you the goods. Then, post a comment with a link to your blog post, polyvore, shopstyle, or any other collection–showing off your Christmas/Hanukkah loot!
Seriously. Now is not the time to be bashful.
