Panasonic Lumix G5

Panasonic sent me their new mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (let’s shorten that to MILC), which is the hybrid system between pocket cams and Digital SLR’s. We can’t call them SLRs, because they don’t have a mirror to…well…single-lens-reflect. Or something.

Anyhoo: I was most excited about getting this camera in my hands once they told me some of the specs, because of what it can do for video. Autofocus (during filming). Soft focus blurred backgrounds. Incredibly sharp HD. Holy moly.

    I was hoping to come here to find that your dog had been found this is absolutely devastating news. My heart really goes out to you. I really don’t understand how someone could do such a thing. I own a pet myself and I honestly just want to cry for you because I can empathize with losing what I consider to be not a pet but a family member.

    My heart breaks for you. Sending you lots of prayers and positive thoughts. When a friend lost her pup we posted his pic on as many Facebook sites as we could. Local businesses, animal shelters (everyone was very open to letting us post his pic), it helped to know that a lot of folks knew he was missing and we got lots of calls that helped us. Good luck and lots of hugs.

    I’m currently looking for a new camera so this post is very timely. I’ll be giving this a look too! I’m deeply sorry about Winnie, I hope the man will have a heart and return your baby. Some people just amaze me.
