Pretty (Random) Things

Really no time to say much, this test is looming (Sunday is the big day). Just thought I’d share with you some dreamy things that calm and de-stress me…second only to chocolate. The bib necklace is from new york design shop (and yes, a giveaway is coming up), the lilac polish is a new shade I picked up at my drugstore, and the armor rings are from Forever 21 (though in real life they’re oxidized and dull…not sure why the F21 website shows them as being so shiny).

I’m tired. My doctor took one look at me today and steered me to the scale. It turns out I’ve lost 10 pounds since I started studying for this miserable exam non-stop. Mainly my diet has consisted of take-out, microwavable dinners, and handfuls of whatever snacks I find laying around (Chex Mix & Gardettos top this list).

The social bar above is my tip jar. Pin, Like, and Tweet if you please!

Love, Kristina

That nail color is perfect! And you were asking where my title came from and, no, it is not cool at all. My husband and I have been watching old episodes of the X-Files and it is from a particularly creepy episode, but it made me giggle (in a dark way).

LOVE the wooden deer head, polish and bib necklace. I wish I could find those deer heads that weren't expensive… it would sure beat all the REAL deer antlers I have around my house! Much cuter! :)

The ring is super pretty, but then again, so is everything I love pink! Since I am new here I need to go see what you are studying for! :)

Dear God–10 pounds on your petite frame? That's like losing an entire leg! I'm the complete opposite of you in this respect. Food is my only salvation in a long day of studying. Question set goal met? Yes please, I deserve a hamburger with a shake. And fries with that.

Your site is so beautiful; I wish the little things I do between studying (that amount to more time than I'd like) were as productive and visually appealing as this. Anyhow, you'll do great! I'm confident that our school and well honestly, DIT also, has prepared us well! Good luck, girl!

Oh dear, 10 pounds is a LOT for somebody your size. You should take a break and eat a big healthy meal. And then take some pictures of yourself in a turban because I want to see how it looks on a person.

Good luck!

LOVE those MMM sandals! The platform slays me!

Stay sane while studying–so hard, I know! It always helps me to focus on how amazing it will feel when you're done!

(and it's terrible to say, but if it meant I could lose 10 lbs, I might study for the boards too ;)
