I saw this film in theatres last year. It's quite the gem. I especially loved how the director captured Wintour's vulnerability when she spoke about her siblings' success. See it.

The movie sounds truly amazing! Thank you for doing the review for me (well and others too), i loved hearing your opinion about the movie rather than the plot. Decided to watch it this weekend, after such a great opinion about it!

I loved the documentary too, and maybe because I lived in London for years I knew of Grace Coddington, who certainly steals the show! She is so obviously the visionary and Ann Wintour in every sense is the editor. I was amazed that AW just didn't get it quite often (like not seeing that smooth rubber IS a texture) - and seems totally hung up on her own prejudices, against black and for fur!

This has been at the top of my Netflix queue but has a long wait. Perhaps I should try Redbox instead...I hear they have a lot of free codes. Or perhaps I should actually watch and send back my current Netflix movie in an effort to get the SI. (Coco Before Chanel has been languishing on top of my DVD player.)
