My tastes in jewelry run the gamut from costume to fine (and admittedly most of the time that so-called gamut is skewed dangerously toward the David Yurman end–I’ve collected about 6 DY pieces over the years). But when you’re gifting a jewelry lover, it is what it is. My favorite places to shop for that hard-to-find jewelry-wearing gal (who may just be yourself) are Saks 5th Avenue, and Nordstrom. Neiman Marcus is also a great place, if you have it in your area. (Is it a Southern thing? Am I having a dumb blonde moment?)
