The amazingly talented and gorgeous Etsy shop Love.Jujube is providing a lucky PSS hopeful with this gorgeous pendant necklace! It’s so sparkly and shiny in person – it’s one of the most gorgeous pieces to have fallen into my hands in recent times.

Other than my butt. But that’s because it fell into my hands when I had to sit on them to stop reaching for the box of Girl Scout cookies on my desk. But that’s another story, for another time.

Take a quick minute to peek at these amazing pieces of jewelry, and so friggin’ affordable–I recommend these elegant pieces for Mother’s Day presents (coming up!), bridesmaid gifts, or heck, even for yourself.

7 Ways To Enter!

  • Leave a comment with the most OUTRAGEOUS lie you can think of about PSS (for example: “I haven’t slept for 6 days straight because I’ve been refreshing Pretty Shiny Sparkly in hopes of a new blog post!”) By the way, kudos to you if you actually do that. I love you, man.
  • Follow me on twitter. (Then tweet me and tell me so!)
  • Refer a friend to follow me on twitter (please confirm it first) then tweet me to let me know! (Please don’t leave this in the comments – leave that for the liars.)
  • Add PSS to your blogroll (You may leave a comment about this)
  • Become a fan of Jujube on Facebook
  • Become a fan of PSS (click or just use the widget in the sidebar!)
  • Follow Jujube’s blog!

Contest ends in a flash: March 9th at 11:59pm! Hurry up and get crackin’. I am expecting some totally, wonderfully creative lies, so make them good. Have fun. Get your friends to follow me on twitter & enjoy extra chances to win! Again, please confirm it first. I’m only one woman. US only please.

The social bar above is my tip jar. Pin, Like, and Tweet if you please!

Love, Kristina

Do not enter this competition! The prize may look pretty but it is in fact a highly advanced piece of crystal technology that interferes with your naturally occurring hormones. If you are prone to spots it will make you spottier that Mr Blobby, if you have a slight facial hair problem you will soon wake up looking like David Bellamy. I don’t even want to mention the sweat problems it can cause but put it this way, no amount of Bold 3 in 1 will remove the under arm stains from your favourite top, you will earn the nick name yellow pits in no time.

Pretty Shiny Sparkly, or “My Precious” (as I like to call it”) has taken over my life. I try to find ways to drop PSS into every day conversations.

For example, my friend said to me, “Hey, Amy, my boyfriend dumped me.”

And I said, “May the power of PSS obliterate him into the vast beyond.”

She said, “Uh, when did you start talking like that?”

I said, “PSS not only makes me want to be a better person; it has also improved my speech.”

Oh, PSS, please be mine. I turn 30 on March 23 and winning you could be the last great thing that happens to me as a 29 year-old.

We all know Pretty, Shiny Sparkly is really a guise for magpie syndrome an irrational affinity for shiny objects. When a highly shiny object is seen by the sufferer it often may induce a compulsive need to claim it and several minutes of staring at said object in the sun. This will later end in the sufferer pocketing the object to add to his/her collection by a sunny windowsill at home. (urbandictionary)

Given the choice between bringing back the winning lottery numbers or the address of PSS, there was no contest whatsoever, and I can only hope hubby forgives me.

I am allergic to all this that sparkle, shine, and otherwise dazzle. Everytime I wear glitter or sequins I literally break out into a rash! When I consulted my doctor about this terrible affliction, she told me my only option was to wear the single most sparkly thing possible in hopes I will build up an immunity. Don’t you see? I need to win, my health is at stake!

I knew Jack would triumph, because your website is 100% in support of his efforts. I thank you, and Jack thanks you. By the way, he wanted me to say he LOVES the earrings he won from you, and he plans to wear them next season when he takes on the ultimate source of ugly: Lady Gaga’s School of Fashion Terrorists.

Sorry I’m posting my True Tale Honest It IS I Swear so late, but when word got out that PSS was having a Liar’s Contest, half the district converged on my house- the only place with an internet connection- and started vying for first place. Granted we’re a rural district, I still had to whip up appetizers and seats for a couple dozen people, because everyone likes Pretty.
Like I said, I’m the only one with a connection, and so any potential entries had to come through me, but everyone knows I’m a fast typer and so I’m now sitting here pretending to record the biggest whoppers you ever heard, but actually typing in my own response. Which is this. Which I guess doesn’t count, because it IS true, honest, swear on anything I don’t own.

Also, it is a lovely pendant. And that is REALLY the truth.

In my quest to become pretty shiny and sparkly, I asked my friend Eddie- Eddie Cullen, to bite me so I could sparkle in the sun. He did it and, well-here we are. My best friend Jake Black was all emo over it for awhile, but he got over it. Pfft, boys. Am I right, ladies? Can I get an Amen?! I eat a lot of carrots because I’m a vegetarian vampire so my eyes are nice and shiny, and mere human jaws drop at how BEAUTIFUL I am. ;] That’s pretty much my true life story.

Last spring I was sitting in my dorm and my room mate was in a serious argument with her boyfriend outside of our room. I came across PSS and saw an entry featuring an awesome piece of jewelry. I didn’t notice at the moment but she had just came in telling me what happened, she had caught him kissing another girl behind the Library on our campus. I shouted, “That’s so Hot!” but I was refering to the jewelry I was looking at. She screamed “What the hell is wrong with you?!” and stormed out after throwing a pillow at me”.

Most outrageous lie:
When I was 18, I used to hitchhike a lot (this was the 70′s man). So, a friend and I decided to hitch home to my parent’s place from college. As we’re riding on the highway in some stranger’s sedan, I see a guy from my hometown passing by. Now, understand; my hometown has 1200 people in it! We flagged him down and caught a ride to Mom and Dad’s. My mom asked, “So who did you get a ride home with?” (NO! She had no idea that I hitched.) And the lie just rolled off of my tongue with ease: “Tom W.–He goes to school at the U.”
