Today’s Face: Pink Lips, Winged Liner

“Getting Ready With Me” videos are popular on YouTube, and I personally like to film them more than “makeup tutorial” type videos, largely because I’m not a makeup artist and you probably do your makeup way better than I. But “GRWM” type videos are nice because they’re a casual, laid back way to see how the YouTuber does their makeup. Now, this isn’t my everyday makeup by far (I think I’d frighten my patients with that neon lip) but on weekends or days off in general I like to spice it up since I have to be so boring at work.

This is such a beautiful look! I love the eyebrow pencil you used and that insanely gorgeous pink lipgloss! Thanks for sharing :)

Oh my goodness is that pink! I wish I could pull it off, but every time I put a similar color on, I feel like a clown. I also have my husband in the background making the most grotesque facial expressions. It looks so good on you, though. I also love that you kept it simple with the eyes so as to not go overboard.

Also, I definitely do love this tutorial. You should absolutely continue to do them.

I loved this tutorial, Kristina! You should definitely make more of them! This is one of my favorite makeup looks to create on myself, but I love the little tips you had that I’d never heard before like the taupe pencil to create a shadow or using a brush to apply concealer! If you are ever wanting to do makeup on someone else, I’m always free ;)

I also loved the video. especially the taupe pencil and the Anastasia brow. I’ve never seen one used before, It certainly was quick and looked natural.

I just recently discovered your vlogs and have been totally loving them! I completely obsessed with trying this makeup look, love it! But horrors, I can’t get my hands on the Rimmel Scandaleyes shadow paint in “beige” and it really is a key element of this look. Ack! I’ve found one online called “toasted marshmallow” that looks similar… is beige a discontinued color? Must…find…shadow…Thanks!
