It’s about that time of year, and ’tis the season for giving (and receiving, yay)! Although this year I’m resigned–no, determined!–not to receive any gifts from my family–my generous parents are discovering just how expensive a wedding is–but that doesn’t mean a girl can’t dream, right?

And dreaming is definitely the idea, here, as some of these wishlist items of mine are out-of-this-world expensive. But that’s alright. I like to have a running tab of items I’d like to own one day, in case I come across a huge cash windfall. Hey, it could happen.

I am loving those J Crew bracelets! I remember telling my parents not to buy any Christmas gifts for me before my wedding in March 2007 – they were paying for my wedding. But of course they did anyway, because they didn’t want to leave that out. So funny how parents are ;)

I love that starfish necklace!

Isn’t it the cutest?? I’d wear it layered with the tiffany beads necklace. Or alone. It’s just so cute.

I have the tiffany bead in a bracelet. It’s so surprising…you see pearls but they are silver. Love!

That’s exactly why I love it, too! It’s just as professional but more modern than pearls. Love it. I would wear it layered with the starfish pendant, if I had both.

The J.Crew coat is something I wish for as well, though this year my holiday wishlist contains only adventures, and my parent will buy the tickets for them.:)

I’m working on that very dilemma right this very moment. He can be so easy to shop for but at the same time so very hard! I’m big on surprises so I don’t like to get his input too much, but I’m thinking this year I’ll have to.

I, on the other hand, am not big on surprises when it comes to gifts (too many bad experiences lol) so I regularly wishlist.

I have been giving to myself so much this Black Friday and Cyber Monday. A little depressed from all the shopping. But I’m going to say it’s all in the name of Fashion!

I am in love with that J. Crew coat. I had it in my shopping cart but had to put it back. I just don’t need another coat right now.

Nice wish list! I’m the same, I love to keep a running tab of items that I can only dream of owning some day. I especially like the retro look of that camera, very cool :)

This looks very similar to my wishlist :) I am dying for that Canon lens…did you know there is a similar Tamron one that is comparable in quality and half the price?!

Reply

24 Kristina November 29th, 2011 at 1:26 pm

I’ve heard Tamron is comparable but…I’m just such a loyalist to Canon. I’m a label-whore when it comes to certain things, and I feel like I’m cheapening myself when I don’t get the real deal. Silly, I know, since I buy things that are off-brand all the time, every day, but…I’m just weird about certain things. LOL
