Yellow and grey is great together. I have never been a big fan of the color yellow, but paired with grey is great!

I LOVE yellow and gray. It’s right up there with pink and gray (or anything pink). But in all seriousness, being a fan of pastels I think the yellow and gray combination is elegant and cheery, without being too much. Also it’s not faddish so it won’t go out of style within a year or something.

The sheet set on the bed is really lovely. I say go with this color scheme!

i like the last combo of colors on the couch in the yellow collection. you can’t go wrong with grey. ever. using a combo of yellow and lavender with bits of teal and burgundy and even hints of grey lavender with the neutral palette are all so inviting and can be changed up whenever the need. the combination of texture and pattern, are always a win in my opinion. great reference choices btw. as always :)

I love both color schemes and I’m not sure yet which one is my favorite yet. But, the great thing about both is that you could do some small touches for a mix of both. Purple and yellow are opposite on the color wheel, so they contrast beautifully when paired together. So, if you went with the yellow and gray scheme, you could add a pretty amethyst-colored decorative pillow to your bedding for a nice pop of a contrasting color. The same would be true if you picked the purple scheme. For me, adding purple touches to the yellow and grey also helps make it a bit more soothing for (yet still energetic) for a master bedroom.

This is a nice color scheme, but it’s also a very trendy one right now. Grey and yellow are very “in.” That’s not bad in itself, but it could also mean that it will start to look dated in the future. The amethyst and grey combo is more timeless, I think.

Since both of your color schemes involve grey (one of my favorite colors!) you could buy the more expensive items (like bedding) in shades of grey, and then buy the accessories and accents in your choice of yellow or lavender. That way you can change things in the future without spending too much money. :)

I like the colors but I don’t find them soothing for a bedroom. I could totally see this in a bathroom or other area where energy and wake-ful-ness are needed. If you had to use it in a bedroom I’d keep the yellow touches minimal. For bedrooms usually you want soothing calming colors OR provocative colors ;-)
I guess you know I vote for the other combo then!

I love love love the combo of yellow and grey! I plan on decorating my whole basement with it!! I’ve been looking day in and day out for inspirations with these color combo. I think yellow is such a FUN color to decorate it and doesn’t it just make you want to smile?? I love that bedspread but am sad that it wouldn’t match in my bedroom right now.. maybe my next house haha! The window seating area with the fun pillows is soo neat as well. I think blues fit well with this scheme as well!
